Hafan Fferi Details


Hafan Fferi is a small but perfectly formed cottage with all home comforts.

The cottage sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom, with a comfortable king-size bed. The bedroom has a chest of draws, clothes hangers, bedside cabinets with lamps, black-out blinds, and a TV with Freeview.

The living room has a TV (Smart TV) DVD player with a selection of DVDs, a comfortable leather sofa, side tables, window seat, and wood burner. Throws are provided so your dog can join you on the sofa. There is also a dining area and shelf with books and local information leaflets.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher (tablets provided) electric cooker and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, and teapot. We have tried to think of everything you may need in terms of utensils etc but please feel free to message and check we have what you may need. Under the sink, you will find cleaning products, a dustpan & brush, and iron. Beside the fridge is the tabletop ironing board. Dogs bowls are also in the kitchen.

The bathroom has an extra-large shower with a seat and a heated towel rail.

The garden is enclosed and dog friendly, there is also an enclosed area between the cottage and garden with seating and BBQ, perfect for letting your dog out for a late-night wee and keeping paws clean.

There is off-road parking at the cottage.

 

Hafan Fferi is located on a quiet one-way lane near the centre of Ferryside village, a 1-2 min walk to the beach. Ferryside is a quiet village, there is a dog-friendly pub, village shop, post office, Fish and chip shop and a newly opened restaurant, Pryd. The train station is a couple of minute's walk from the cottage.

Ferryside is less than 10 mins drive from Kidwelly, with cafes, pubs, and co-op. Carmarthen is approx 15 mins from the cottage.

Carmarthen Bay Ferries run a foot ferry with crossings to Llansteffan, as well as river trips. The ferry operates at different times each day depending on the tide times, there is a timetable in the village or on their website and Facebook page. The ferry is dog and bike-friendly.
