Our dog-friendly cottages are the perfect base for your Welsh adventure. Conveniently situated halfway between Carmarthen and Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, our cottages are ideally positioned to tour West Wales, the Brecon Beacons, the Gower peninsula, and Pembrokeshire National Park.

Our Kidwelly cottages are ideally located with shops, pubs, and takeaways just a stroll away. Enjoy relaxing walks along Cymer Canal, Kidwelly Quay, and the footpath below the historic 900-year-old Kidwelly Castle. Treat yourself and your furry friend to the choice of dog-friendly cafes like Time for Tea, Kidwelly deli, and the cafe at Parc Y Bocs farm shop, home to Burns dog food and Burns dog adventure parks.


The stunning 8-mile long blue flag Cefn Sidan beach & Pembrey country park are just 10mins drive from Kidwelly. The park offers bike hire, dry ski slopes, toboggan run, mini golf, dog friendly cafe and hundreds of acres of forest to explore

Also within a short drive are Ffos las racecourse, Burry Port Harbour, the Millennium Coastal Path, Pembrey motor circuit Llanelliwetland centre & Glyn Abbey golf course. 

Carmarthenshire is known as the garden of Wales, the National Botanic Gardens and Bird of Prey Centre, are  just a 25-minute drive from our cottages. Spanning 586 acres with over 8000 plant varieties, the gardens showcase the world's largest single-span glasshouse. Make the most of dog-friendly days on Mondays, Fridays, and the first weekend of the month.
