About us

We moved to Wales in 2013. When we were house hunting we struggled to find dog friendly places to stay with our 4 dogs, that got us thinking!

Our first project was Hafan Bach. Hafan Bach is Welsh for Little Haven and we hope you will agree that is just what the cottage is. The cottage had been empty for many years when we purchased it and it took us over a year of blood sweat and tears to renovate and be ready for our first guests. We worked hard to retain the character of the cottage by restoring original features and cosy feel.

Hafan Bach welcomed its first guests in July 2016. Since opening we have enjoyed meeting guests from all over the UK and further afield. We have been blown away by the positive feedback and are thrilled that many guests choose to return.

In October 2017 we completed the renovation of our second cottage, Ty Clyd. Sadly due to Covid-19 we made the heartbreaking decision to part with Ty Clyd in 2020.

In August 2018 we welcomed our first guests to Hafan Fferi. 10 mins from Kidwelly, in the charming village of Ferryside, Hafan Fferi is a 1 bedroom cottage just a short walk from the beach.

In August 2021 we purchased cottage next to Hafan Fach. 2 years later, following a total renovation, we finally welcomed our first guest to Hafan Fach. We are thrilled with the feedback we have received from guests, it makes all the hard work worth while.
